In The Page Margins

I was listening to Sophia Coppola talk about making movies (because when I need inspiration I often turn to screenwriters who make movies), and she said "I like making stories or...building an atmosphere from little moments and details and not having to have a big dramatic plot."

You know those times when you hear an artist or writer you admire articulate something you have been feeling about your own practice of making things?

There is value in the quick sketches, fleeting ideas, experiments and seemingly unimportant things found along the way.
